Situated
in picturesque North-East Victoria, the Myrtleford Savoy Sporting Club can be
found on the Great Alpine Road in Myrtleford, the Gateway to the Alps. Part
of the Ovens Valley, Myrtleford is noted for agriculture, migrant culture, scenery,
proximity to the snowfields of Mt. Buffalo, Mt. Hotham and Falls Creek.
Tobacco, once king of the crops, is being overtaken by viticulture, and many local
wineries have opened.
The Club is in a garden setting just over Barwidgee Creek at the entrance to town
and is a family-friendly community club, with Fine Food & Wine, Functions Rooms,
Member's Bar, Coffee lounge room and numerous sporting facilities. |
